I read about light-emitting garment tests in Germany a few years back – looks like it’s actually happening! The goal is to eventually make them wireless/programmable, so the patterns, logos, and messages can be easily customized and updated by the makers and users…and the wearers can potentially be tracked by chips sewn into the fabric.
Stay tuned, folks…the world gets weirder and weirder by the second (you only need to see the LED couch clock for proof of that)
