He was always an emo candyass though... duh he went to the dark side lost in his passion for More Power... but yeah ... what he also didnt realize by his visions were that he was the person that would hurt them... by not letting go and following the path of the Jedi...

I thought it was awesome. Hayden and Natalie do have weak points in their acting--- but I thought it was worth seeing it at midnight.

Lol, that's what i ended up doing. We had this midnight screening of it, the night before it was on general release here, shame i was working it though as opposed to jsut watching. I found thee two guys with lightsabers and got them to come to the front and have a light-saber battle. Heh heh, i had to call a winner as the trailers were starting.

I'll agree with guppo on it. I think it also performs a valuable public service on showing the dangers of emoness.

Also there were unanswered questions:

what happens to Jar-Jar? (not that I really care much just asking)
how's chewbaca hook up with hans solo, and how does he come into it?
what's obi-wan do with qui-gon all this time, and does it involve lube?

Saw it this afternoon. Work gave us all the afternoon off to watch it, and bought pizza prior to it and paid for our tickets- so there was no way I was coming away disappointed. It was interesting seeing how they tied up a lot of loose ends, it was painful listening to 90% of the dialogue, and it was dizzying watching the effects. Oh and the Darth Vader suit is completely fetishised- I guess it's the only way to stop it look ridiculously dated next to everything else.

I think most people have grown since they first watched star wars... thing is, the films haven't grown to match. It'd be a lot cooler if I was 12 again.

I think this movie had the worst intro text of all the movies. I was sorely disappointed.
