I've been having an extremely shitty week: Had my wallet stolen Monday, had my first ever panic attack Wednesday at work. Spent the evening in the emergency room. They put me back on antidepressants. Been going through that whole getting used to them phase that has me feeling all weird. I hate meds... I've just been feeling like complete crap...
So, being in some serious need of a little ego boosting, I figured I'd start a thread.
This is the self accomplishments thread!
So here I go:
1. My vegetable garden is completely planted and the seeds have already started to grow!
2. This is the first forum thread I've ever created!
3. | In my LiveJournal I wrote: | April 25, 2005
So, if you don't know I bowl every Saturday on the Christian Fellowship League and our team has been doing surprisingly well this half! It's been an all out war between 4 teams (Wolf Pack [us], The Saints, Pin Savers and Strike Force). Last Saturday was the final match before the last position night. The results after that night: Saints-33.5, Wolf Pack-33, Strike Force-32, Pin Saver-30 What does this mean? That for position night we face The Saints and that no matter what the outcome, Pin Savers are out of the running! Next Saturday will determine who wins this half. The Saints won the first half, so if we or Strike Force win, then we have a roll off againts The Saints the following week to see who takes overall. I'm so excited! We've NEVER been this close before! ^_^ I can't wait to see what happens! It's anyone's game. ^_^
May 15, 2005
So let's see...bowling update! As said in previous post, the Wolf Pack went up against The Saints to decide who would win the second half. The night was heartstoppingly close! Frame for frame, throw for throw, pin for pin! I know my heart stopped at least 17 times that night! lol The third team in the running, Strikeforce, lost their first game which took them out. So the results: Wolf Pack-3 Saints-1
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOLF PACK TAKES 1ST FOR THE SECOND HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what did that mean? One more night of bowling! ROLL OFF!!! 1st place from first half rolls off against first place from second half. The match: Wolf Pack vs The Saints!!!!! BOOOOYAAAAA! An awesome team to play against! And a promise for another extremely fun night!
So we arrive at the bowling alley and prepare for the final match. There's a slew of people there just to watch. Neither team has ever taken first before and so naturally, there were cheering crowds! ^_^ The stakes were high, but no matter what the results of the night, we were guaranteed to come out of it with an article of clothing baring the team name! ^_^ To first place, jackets. To second, shirts.
Well we said prayer and began the match, but throughout the night a certain number seemed to plague the scoreboards and we were instantly reminded of an incident that occurred last year. We were bowling on the same Christian Fellowship Bowling League playing the same team, The Saints, when we ended our game with a tie. The score: 666. Something's just not right about that...O_o
Anyways, the results of the night: Saints-1st, Wolf Pack-2nd. So we didn't take first, but ya know what? It doesn't matter! We're getting shirts!!! How awesome is that?! And on top of it, we had a very fun night! WOO HOOO!!!!! ^_^ |
Last Saturday we had our banquet at which we received said shirts!!! Will put a picture up as soon as I get a chance! ^_^ _________________ It's convoluted revivification!

I actually got somewhere in my quest to make a good classroom experience for my students next semester. Now I will go back to work on that.
Oh, and I recently saved a batch of pancake batter by turning it into corn fritters!

I once heard a rumor that Mt. Dew lowers your sperm count... silly rumors.
As for accomplishments, I didn't have a nervous breakdown (yet) after spending 3 whole days with my family... even after I was going to go back to my place last night & my dad lost my keys. That reminds me...I need to do some writing...
Hmmm...accomplishments...
Well, I did manage to finish a subchater in the newest shortstory, and started the next one. After that there's only 3 or 4 more chapters to go. And...well, that's about it for the week really. I think I need a break after all I had to finish last week _________________ Eagels may soar, but weasles don't get sucked into jet engines. |

HURRAY FOR EVERYONE!
I finally quit my job!
Now to get caught up on everything...lol.
And when I do, I'll post more on exactly where I've been these last few weeks.
Here's a picture of said shirts from the top post:
Pictured are my dad, my brothers, Jeff and Matt, and one of my best friends, often mistaken for a sister, Amy.
I'm the short one on the end. _________________ It's convoluted revivification!

Hurray for Midnight!
And yay for me! I finally finished re-reading/editing/whatever with my novel, "Kataraktmond". But not only that, but managed to write almost six thousand words in under five hours.
Not only that, but I thought my site was in danger of going down, because my friend who is hosting it for me didn't have the money to pay for it. But because her mother decided to be nice for a change, she can still host it. Now hopfully I can make some money off of Hatter & Hare to pay her back for all of the nice things she has done for me.
Hurray-hurray! |
