Yay my favorite chapter!!!
Okay so, hot-predictable-creepy Gabe does the Jesus with Bula. I dunno why, but as much as I get freaked out about weird scary things..... I LOVED this chapter. I couldn't peel myself away and at some point I was begging for more. As I've always said, I'm a fan of the original- with no voice overs, so I can't give commentary about how hot Brooke sounded. Man, if only BS were a live version! I'll come back to comment more about it this chapter. But for now- chem test and homework. Mwehehehe...... _________________ Run mad as often as you choose, but do not faint!

This was indeed an awesome chapter. I applaud Gabe on his performance in this. To me, he is truly the Angel of Judgement which is the meaning behind the name Gabriel.
Brooke, good job with choosing the right name for one of our atagonists. I love you, man! |

To cause suffering...
It was important that Shandala experience suffering.

I never completly trusted Gabriel. I knew something was up after the "chains and bone and tarnished copper" bit. But yeah. Moving on.
It seemed to me the order in which he confronted the Saints in the beginning of the 2nd act were the steps to 'enlightment'. First you must overcome your emotions in order to change (Oran), find yourself and your purpose (Raimi), accept your losses (Shandala) and I'm not entirely sure about Kamimura, but I think it might be to "heed your calling" or something of that nature. |

I have no beef with this chapter. Lots of people were crucified, not just Jesus. It was all the rage in the Roman empire way back when.

First time I watched it, I was running around yelling "Oh my God, I can't believe he crucified the kitty!" Of course, everyone was all like "huh?"

The point of crucifying Bula is also to make Shandala remember about what happened to her mother ("You will forget but I wil make you remember" from Ch 24). Again exposing Shandala to pain. _________________ Is it any wonder that we wait for the day...

Yay, thread resurrection just to say one thing.
I tried listening to some Chapters with 5.1 recently, but the sound system was being uncooperative and it was basically stereo. However, an important extra feature here is that the sound system came with a resident dog. Well, we listened to Chapter 22 with the dog nearby, and he had some serious issues with Act II--even before it got to the really loud parts. So . . .
Brookie-poo? Did you put ultra- or sub-sonics into that Chapter? And did you do it just to drive dogs crazy, or were there other motives?

It probably has something to do with the dead cat-ness. I wouldn't be surprised if they sense that shit, even if it is animated. _________________
