OKAY, time to clear something up. I must request the attention of all here who have ANY self-respect as a video gamer. Look here:

One page in the above album.

Look all the way over at the lower left-hand corner. See that bag that says "know your mushrooms"? I've seen this before, and neither I, caroljoy, nor the owner of the bag can identify the second from the right. They are:

1-Up Mushroom . . . Super Mushroom . . . SMB2 Mushroom Block . . . MYSTERY . . . Lost Levels Poison Mushroom.

What is the mystery mushroom? It almost looks like the classic Super Mushroom from SMB1, but the yellow and red are in the wrong places. Compare:

. . . And the Mega Mushroom from New Super Mario Brothers looks like the classic one, too.

So, what is this thing?

--Rexfelum

EDIT. Look here:

"Reverse"? What the heck is reverse?

It is from Mario Party, it reverses your way around the board.

You should definitley play the Mario Party games if you haven't already, especially the first as that had the games that broke many children's hands. Mario Party 1 rocked.

Gotta love games that leave blisters and peeled skin on your hands. Thats how you know you're playing Mario Party RIGHT.

Gups.... that disturbed, confused, scared look on my face.... priceless. I love Noam Chomsky, but I so did not want to think of him in speedos.
Thanks though. You are indeed the queen of randomness.

I had nightmares that night.........

I thought I had more pics of BS at the Con, but this is all I could find:

BS Booth

BS Panel (Sorry about the quality. Lighting was bad.)

Michael Dobson et moi

I also managed to add another member to the BS fold (she's just finished disc 2. Woo!). I'll take/post some pics of my BS swag when I have some free time.
I also just picked up the new DVD set yesterday and the commentaries are saweeet

A plague upon Fox (now that Broken Saints has successfully gotten everything it needs from them)!

Oh, and I missed this:

Thank you. I haven't played it. I've played Sonic Shuffle (cue sounds of obsolete console competition outrage) and have been informed that Mario Party rocks in the same frequency.
