Yes Brookie, make me feel guilty. I see your plan.

*quickly checks the wiki page*
Hmm, new fangled live action mini-series and everything. With internet at home (had it for quite a while) and time to kill every once in a while, I might stumble that way.
To do list:
Re-structure minor characters, possible 2nd page
Re-structure chapters, definitely needs a separate page for those
Update with any other new-fangled things (have to lurk more)
????
Profit (had to be done, as cliche as it is) _________________ The familiar forum frequenter formerly known as bigjact |

More piccies!!!
Maybe references to other projects it's given birth to (I Am Legend, Hellboy, and Batman Black and White Motion Comics). Heck...when USA Today called BS 'the Grandfather of Motion Comics', I was surprised...but when other folks started calling the Watchmen Motion Comic the first, I was pissed!!!

I kinda agree. When I saw that Watchmen motion comic in stores when the movie was coming out I was like "Hey, they just totally copied that style from Broken Saints."
I'd have to check and see if there is a category on there for "Motion Comics" or even a wiki page for that medium yet. So far Broken Saints was classified as a web-comic, but it doesn't quite fit. _________________ The familiar forum frequenter formerly known as bigjact |

Well when the Watchmen Motion comics came out on On Demand the info as I recall was Watchmen (1987)- Animated Narration of Alan Moore's graphic novel. _________________ Honor thy error as a hidden intention |

The motion comics were made around the same time the movie was coming out.
And as far as pictures, most of the ones I had posted were removed due to questions over copyright status. I haven't gotten a chance to go further into it, what with work and the like. These late nights when I've got insomnia are the times that I'm most likely to do something.
For now I'll think over creating a dedicated Motion Comics category, if there seems to be enough material to fill it. I forget what term you used originally for it though, because I'd want to make note of that as an alternate term and possibly a re-direct to the motion comics page. _________________ The familiar forum frequenter formerly known as bigjact |

Well how the Watchmen motion comic is- is well just a narration a man overdubbed reading the comic nothing more nothing less it was like book on tape. Broken Saints is well totally different and more expansive than that. _________________ Honor thy error as a hidden intention |

Warner Bros seems to have established 'Motion Comic' as the term to use now. I referred to BS in the past as 'cinematic literature'...but I admit now that that was A)pretentious and B)more than a mouthful
Other motion comics of note include:
- Watchmen
- Batman Black and White series
- Marvel Motion Comics (Daredevil, XMen, etc)
- Saw DVD promos
- Metal Gear motion comics
- I Am Legend promos
- Hellboy 2 promos
Lots more coming...so yeah...feel free to quote USA Today and call BS 'the Grandfather of Motion Comics' LOL

IF BS is the Grandfather of Motion Comics, who is the Grandmother, who is the Father, and who is the Mother of Motion Comics? _________________ “When I am fighting I am keeping my mind empty for any expectations. I am waiting for something unique, completely new.”

Yeah, and who's the annoying younger sibling? And the creepy Uncle you don't want sitting next to you at holiday dinner?!

To do list redux:
1. Make new Chapters page
2. Condense characters
3. ????
4. Profit
(had to)
Like usual, I'm suffering insomnia and things pop into my head. At least this gives me a starting point, some 3 years from my last one. _________________ The familiar forum frequenter formerly known as bigjact |
