For those who enjoy the music of tobias tinker, there is some more tobias tinker music of an enjoyable sort. He has recently been working with an authentic 1939 synthesizer, along with more modern ones, to make Christmas music in a collection. The first piece is here:

http://soundcloud.com/tobiastinker/oh-come-emmanuel

The others are linked from there, with the second-oldest ("Coventry Carol") at the bottom over on the right, and the rest in sequence. I would say that the first two are the most lovely, but tobias is not done yet--apparently, he may do twelve of these.

Listen! Enjoy!

I used too many commas in that post. Hmm.

Regardless, the music continues to be very nice. It's a mite disappointing that the Symmetricity thing seems to have gone no further.

He did it again!

This is unrelated to the above. Scroll to the oldest blogs, and you'll see the start of another sequence of his creations. Got some nice stuff.

So . . . has anybody checked this out? This has been some of the most consistently-good stuff I've heard from him.

May I suggest "Aah"?

Oh, thank you for reminding me about this. I'd checked in on it over and over as time passed and listened to whatever he'd uploaded by that point, but I lost track for awhile. The fellow appears to be continuing the creativity, which is really good to see when so many creative projects tend to fizzle out.

Hey, just in case a person reading these forums hasn't also connected on (cough) some social media site (cough), tobias has moved his Sound Fascination thing elsewhere:

http://soundfascination.com/

There are three flippin' volumes in the deal now. It continues to be terrific.

Looking up something I'd posted here back in 2006 reminded me how long it has been since I posted here.

Hi. I'm still here. Many of you are friends with me on Facebook. If anyone who isn't already friends with me on Facebook would like to be, let me know and I'll let you know how to contact me. Do private messages still work? I'd ask Rexfelum but he's at work.

Rexfelum and I have been married since 2012. (Some of you attended the wedding.) Hence, we live together these days, after many years of living in different states or at least different cities.

We've been listening to Sound Fascination recently in our spare time, and really enjoying it. It is just the right kind of music to listen to in the background when trying to get work done, and also it helps with getting undesired music out of your head.
