Sent to me as not one but two (so far) PMs on this board, apparently from the board administration. This constitutes 2 attempts at spreading malware via this board. Cease and desist.

lol, try telling that to the bots. :/

My recommendation is just to set the boards to not send you email.

Yes, you should consider cleaning up the settings for your account. It ought to solve the problem. We just don't have adequate anti-spambot guns to get all these creatures before they flood us with junk.

By the way:

You weren't actually caught, right? Because I've got my own copies of those two spam messages here (specially delivered by "JoshuaEvanss" and "PaulKnorr"), and you can tell they're lying about coming from the administration.

Well, in absence of any response in this thread, I can't be sure you came back to see the suggested solution. I will now send a private message explaining the same thing. If the message gets forwarded to you over e-mail, well, then apparently you needed to have the message forwarded to you.

Edited P.S.: I just noticed that you still have your e-mail address visible on your posts, so I think it's clear this message is needed.

The recent spate of spam (out of all the other ones, you know) helped bring this back to my attention. Has anyone been getting spam over private messages recently? I have not.
