Heh...ah, if only the lottery would pay out to me.

Meanwhile, I only live a couple hours away so I'm planning on driving. If my car's needed to help ferry people around, then I'll gladly assist. In the meantime, those interested in sharing a hotel room can feel free to contact me via PM.

YES.

INFORM US.

If I remember correctly, I caught the bouquet in my hands. So I'm not sure when I'll get married.

Legally? 4, because that's how many sets of seat belts I have. That being said, whoever sits behind me must be a short person.

Is 5 feet even short enough?

Hmm. Do you also fit into overhead bins?

Just asking for logistical purposes.

There's a picture somewhere on this forum of us stuffed inside a box at Science World.

Ah, Science World...good times.

5' might work in the back...it's hard for me to gauge these things. I just know that my tall frame won't fit, as there's barely any leg room with the driver's seat pushed all the way back from necessity. "Barely any leg room" being, of course, a rather subjective phrase.

I know, Eggplant. I know.

I don't recall whether I used that one as my avatar-image-thingy. I know that I used the thermal image from Science World for awhile.

Well, now I feel silly.

Now that I have the concrete dates for my France trip and Japan internship, it turns out that your wedding falls during that brief period in between where I am still in the United States. Poop.

That being said, the trips out of the country will likely have drained my savings too much for me to afford the trip to your wedding (since the internship is unpaid). Double poop.

Regardless, I hope your wedding is fantastic.

Things are looking kind of dubious at best here, too.

Even if I do land this job at Best Buy next week, I'm still not sure if I'd be able to request time off for the wedding, or have enough funds to be able to make it (haha unemployment really boned me in that regard).

We'll have to wait, seeing as the wedding is a little over two months around the corner...

Nervous.

My first instinct is to quip "Circulatory? Gustatory?" but that wouldn't be helpful.

Infinite Blue, that timing is remarkable. Sorry that it doesn't seem to be working.

Reverie, I'm sorry to hear about the problems. Have you checked what monetary numbers are available, i.e., through our short listing of hotels? (I.e., our short listing of the most expensive hotels, so there are certainly others cheaper.) Either way, let it be known that I have plans to bring that comic, so at least other people will corroborate its existence, and as a last resort you might enjoy it vicariously.

Sadly, the way things are going... I'm not even sure if I can cut it for rent next month, let alone pay for a plane ticket and hotel rooms. So much scatterbrain and freaking out right now I don't even know what to do. I really wish I could go, but just... Stupid money. I hate money.

Worry about rent first. If that works out and you have the money for a plane ticket, then you can join us. I'll have a hotel room, and you're welcome to bunk for free. It should be noted here that I've no qualms about sleeping on the floor. I'm more charitable than my old moniker might suggest

Were official invitations sent out, Mr. Rex?

Good timing, Plant of Eggs. I expect to be delivered the invitations from the printer-people shortly. And then. Ah! Then!

Just received my invite, Rex!

I am truly hoping to attend and will be trying my hardest to make it happen, but as it stands, I have no car and precious little money. So it is going to take some doing.

Good, good. As in, "Good, I'm glad the invites are arriving." I'm sorry to hear about the complexities and quandaries.

However, yeah, good that the invites are arriving. They were a terror to make. Eggplant, you may be interested to know that your invite was cursed: getting it printed demanded the sacrifice of two other perfectly innocent envelopes. Sponge, I know you may be "Evil," but you only got one sacrifice.

And then some relatives demanded three. Thank goodness for spares.
