You're added, mon ami Z. I would've noted down that you're bringing your hats as well, but I think here is sufficient warning.

I do have a quick question though, I'm getting off at the bus stop by the Holiday Inn on Howe Street (also known as highway-99, I think) and then if I'm reading the map correctly it's just a couple blocks over to the Samesun. Is this an area of town I should be worried about walking a couple blocks in carrying a duffel bag?

Holiday Inn on Howe
1110 Howe Street

SameSun on Granville
1018 Granville Street

You can see them both on www.map24.com

That area of town is totally fine, don't worry. It's Hastings at Main which is a little less savory.

I'll keep that in mind. You've been a golden goddess Psy, remind me to treat you to a round of ginger ale.

Sure thing, Z. But it's got to be Canada Dry.

Yep.

When I get back from Comicon (hopefully with Drewbie in tow!), we'll be throwing a wee party in the back yard of Kim (DVD producer) and Chrystal's (Butterscotch and Peter Gabriel voice replacement in Chapter 12 and 20) pad. Today's picto haiku features a shot from their place, and we'll be doing it up right just for you and a small group of supportive pals!

Come one, come all!!! Can't wait to see you alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!

xoxo

I've just been checking plane prices and they are MUCH more expensive then they were last year. I mean, just the plane tickets for this trip would be more then the toal cost from my last one, plane tickets and copious amounts of swag included. Grr, this is just annoying. I need to do some more investigating...

Maybe I'll track down a microbrewery. I've had a hankering for trying some real ginger ale. Y'know, the kind that doesn't come in a plastic bottle.

Well, I've just discovered Boylan Pop - it's from the States, but I'm not sure which one. Anyway, it comes in a thick glass bottle. We've tried black cherry and cream soda. Both were fantastic. I'm going to have to try the ginger ale next.

I hear that pop companies make the pop slightly sweeter for Canada than for the States. I've never tried a direct comparison but from what I recall in my travels I think it might be true. I guess you'll be able to settle the matter when you get here. Personally I can't drink the sugary stuff. Boylan's is great 'cause it's not syrupy sweet.
