It feels odd, last weekend was the annual cottage run, I think that was the first time we didn't finish off four packs of bacon on the weekend. I think we're getting old

I burnt my beans. Had the burner too hot and boiled 'em dry. Mostly turned out though.

This is more like it. I come by, I see a few posts, and those posts are the "scattered occasional posts from old forum members" posts. Which is what you'd EXPECT from an old retired-ish hangout several years later.

In recent years, though, if I stepped away from the forums for a week or two due to, let's say, moving, then I'd come back to a spam nightmare.

I'm so, so glad not to see as much spam.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor won the Polaris music prize, blasted the association and ceremony and donated the money. I would like to see someone do that in the Grammys

Out of curiosity, I looked back at my own profile. The "posts per day" thing has now dipped below 1 after all these years (it's at 0.99).

It's not terribly important to note. It's just something I hadn't watched happen before.

I'm 11 posts away from taking the #29 spot on all time posters list from XuShenLi. At the rate I post that may take a few years.

My apologies, but I presumed that the "neener" was directed at someone else. Communication on the internet can be ambiguous, you see.
