Yes, people, science has finally captured pictures of live giant squid. Not dead, not dying, certainly not washed up on a beach. Check it out. Article here. There should be tons more available anywhere on the internet shortly.

Sweet! I actually had just found this article then decided to post. Way to beat me to the punch, Rex. _________________ "The good writers touch life often. The mediocre ones run a quick hand over her. The bad ones rape her and leave her to the flies."

. . . I would just like to say that you know you're on a good forum when people will write things like that.

somehow i failed to note when this was posted that i hurt myself laughing.
referring to die values/AC in real life is always hilarious.
i saw a video of someone killing a HUGE spider and someone in the background goes "that thing must have like 20 AC!". it was one of the best laughs i had that week. _________________ I used to be a dreamer just like you

Yeah, I've been DMing for bout five years now. For any unnecessary nerd-like references, I'm your man. The sad thing is, if you look in the MM (Monster Manuel) for third edition (3.5 can suck it by the way) I'm probably not that far off on my guess. Minus any bonuses from constitution of course. _________________ Yeah, I'm in here too. |

The 2005 article is, shall we say, no longer with us. But recent news brings us word that giant squid video is now available: go here and be amaaazed. Though not by video. You can look the video itself up elsewhere.
Architeuthis LIVES.

Yes, please do. We MIGHT have evolved beyond the existence of spambots by then.
No promises.
