- long hot showers. I'm talking really really long...like more than a half-hour. The only thing that sucks about this apartment is that the water heater can't handle more than a 10 minute shower...

Anywho:

- drumming

- drumming for a crowd

- curling up on a couch with a good book

- writing

- reading or writing outside on a gorgeous day

- long walks on cool summer evenings

- playing video games

- paid days off

- waking up on a Saturday afternoon and lounging around in ma sleepin' ware for hours on end

- knowing I've made someone's day

- glowing reviews about something I've created

- showing off something I've created

-Putting my head on BA's chest and listening to his heartbeat and feeling him breathe.
-Waking up just slightly in the middle of the night to realize he is awake just that little bit too and is cuddling me.
-Playing the card game Snap with mom.
-The sight of my rodent, when I wake up in the morning. He gets up early every morning to run for an olympic gold medal in that running wheel of his and I LOVE seeing that little happy rat look on his face. It's priceless.
-Episode after episode of Family Guy and Futurama.
-Falling asleep with the window open and waking up with the breeze tickling my face.
-I love how when I walk into the living room in the morning, my budgie will hop up on the bars above the door and wait until I go and see him.
-How mom talks to my budgie like he's a person and how the budgie answers back in garbled bird talk like he actually IS a person.
-How in this house you never know if a sound is the real thing making the sound or if it's the budgie. Cuz mom gets pissed at him when he talks too much so she's moved him to every room in the house. He knows how to mimmick her laugh, the washing machine, the doorbell AND the telephone.
-Homemade Chocolate fondue
-Playing the game "I Dare you to drink it" in the kitchen. My fridge hasn't been emptied in about five years, and we pour DISGUSTING things in a glass and make the other person drink it. Now that we're 19 we play it with alcohol.
-Being young and looking around and knowing that I can do anything, and knowing that other people believe that too.
-Bodice tops, red lipstick and hooker boots, used for a night out and to tease the HELL out of asshole guys who just want to get laid.
-Having a Disney Movie marathon
-Singing all the words to every track on the Lion King Soundtrack in the shower and THEN realizing that my mom was having a lunch party and all her friends were sitting in the dining room.
-Accidently flashing my neighbors and not really giving a flying monkey fart.
-Tweezers
-NEVER being too old for a trampoline
-Kisses that start at your lips and end at the base of your spine. When you know that if the person you're kissing didn't have his/her arms around you, that you'd fall over just from the shear passion the kiss embodies. Sinking SO deep into that kiss that you lose your sense of direction, you forget everything else and (if anything) the only words you can utter afterwards are "wow".
-First kisses.
-Working out until you ache.
-Getting your make up absolutely PERFECT when you have somewhere to go.
-Running my hands inside BA's shirt just to feel his chest. (he has a sexy chest even though he'll deny it).
-I like watching people who try too hard to hate. People who look for revenge on people who hardly even notice their existence. People who believe that they are so important that, other people take time out of their lives just to look down on them, or even think about them. I like watching this because I know sooner or later they'll see what I do. Everybody tries their best.
-Going to bed when you're so tired you fall asleep the second your head hits the pillow.. like I'm going to do now.

more simple pleasures

--being able to chew without extreme pain (I had a root canal on wednesday... yeah.. I highly reccomend them for a shmashing good time, it takes three hours and it hurts like hell.. but you get a lolly pop when you're done. and goodness knows I like lollypops)

--Loratabs... they're great with chocolate shakes!

--being so loopy that you can have a complete conversation with your husband on the phone and totally not remember it.. then call him back and ask what you said. Now THATS amusing.

--late night jacuzzi-ing (thank gods for a pool/jacuzzi right outside your balcony.. and for baby monitors with long -distance)

--sneezing so hard you need a squeegee for your computer monitor (like I just did now, so I better end this)
