Moving on? Wait a sec.. I haven't had my say yet.

I'm agreeing with Zeph' and co. for the most part here. My personal position in the whole thing is: I've already invested a whole fucking shitload of hours here. I felt and I posted what was on my mind and what I was feeling. People starting up things like MySpace and all the other countless side fan projects was just something I wasn't prepared to invest in. I've given up (gladly!) a lot of time to these forums but expecting everyone to join in on other happenings is a bit unfair. Especially when we've/I've already given so much. Kudos to everyone's efforts in expanding the enthusiasm for BS, but again, expecting all of us to join in the multitude of other things is/was unrealistic to be nice about it.

Zeph's point about growing up applies a lot to myself. I was 14 when I came here. I'm 19 now and a lot has changed with my lifestyle and circumstances. Like others, I'm choosing to put my energies toward other things. I'm no longer the loner 9th grader who had all the free time in the world to dedicate to your series.

I'm sorry Brooke. I do feel that sense of loss and sadness that comes from seeing this place change. I've expressed it a hundred thousand million times along with a lot of other people. Things change, I'm sure you know. I'm sorry you're feeling the way you do.

While I agree with Sush' Baby, I have to just say this. While we lovely fans have contributed a lot to this series and it's success, we have to keep in mind that Brooke, Andrew and Ian put a lot of themselves into this as well. Remember, these guys were going through weeks of meals of nothing but ramen noodles, had to work in a basement and constantly worried as to whether this project was worth it, whether it would all go to plan. This isn't only about Brooke. This is also about Andrew and Ian, two kids who are very talented and have done more and seen more than probably most people, putting all their hard work into this with the possibility of no payoff in the end.

Keep that in mind.

This is all getting a bit heated. Fair enough if people don't want to add to the listing, but what would help galvanise action is some sort of incentive. Perhaps by rewarding those who add (or indeed have added *nudge nudge wink wink knowing looks and glances know what i mean know what i mean*) stuff with free swag and chocolate and tequila, as well as......"the prize"

Thanks Ange.. lost sight of that 'small' fact for a while.

Still standing by my original words, but thanks for that kick in the head reminder.

Will gladly offer a 'prize' if that's what it takes. Would love to have this balloon into something epic and 'complete' by Comicon

Any takers...?

Well, I added the interview to the Links part, so people can see 'da man' himself in all his glory...and Brooke of course!

I guess I am much less of a doer than I am a thinker.

Ideas to implement:

Many, many more character profiles. I'll start, you guys can go off about how inacurate they are, but at least its a start.

Well, thats a start. Behold the expanded Minor Characters listing.

Additions:

Gabriel
Lear
Palmer
Sandra
Chief Tui
Tui Jr

Going to go home and go through the series, because I still need more info for Ciele, the newstand guy, the guy who looked like Jesus, and others. Some of those minor Characters may need another category.

Perhaps we should have "Four Strangers" then "Supporting Characters" and then "Minor Characters" or something. Just putting it out there. Well, see ya!

Alright, another thought. Having a breakdown of the chapters, along with a short summary. Perhaps using the discriptions given on the chapter select screen.

Oh, and few names for characters who I don't know names for.

The newstand guy, Toshi's mom (the one who saw Kami in the nude), the guy who looks like Jesus (think his name is Michael, but not sure).

Oh, and if anyone has some good descriptions for those characters or any of the following:

Leiutenant Charles and Bravado
The Vagrant (with sandwich board)
Colonel Brahmaz
General Briggs
Mars
Deimos and Phobos
Toshi and his Mom
Cielle
Dmitri and Sardeep (the limo drivers)
Colonel Keene
Major Windham

 Well, I guess that'll be all for now.

Hmmm, I'm up to at least helping start a wikiquote page too..

http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Broken_Saints

Basic Setup, I'll try adding some quotes tommorow - so much to choose from, damn Brooke for being such a cunning linguist

Three things.

One, "linguist."

Two, because I can never be sure these days, are you getting that from the quote on the Flash site?

Three, good luck to you folks. I'm drowning in such lethal amounts of stuff that I just can't help right now, despite getting out some ideas a while ago.

I remember that quote! Yeah, it was from the old flash site. Something about Brooke's tombstone. Go figure.

Well, haven't caught up much with the wikiquote (a 4 measly raimi entries). Any help would be hot, and it's not nearly as hard as 'pedia entries.

Also updated some IMDB stuff, as well as adding the shiny new cover to the wikipedia entry..shiny! Also fixed the uploaded image copyright thing (fair use: dvd cover art) and stuff.

Thanks for the help, guys - please keep 'em coming!

And Zeek, feel free to go nuts with the quotes - I kind of imagine the top 10 per major character...and the more that are there (covering the different vibes of the series: political, spiritual, poetic, tech, funny, etc), the more folks it'll intrigue!

But again...if any of you can add cool pics to snazz things up a little (and feel free to link them to whatever wallpapers or posters you like), that'd rock too!

Peace and 'preciation

How should I license any pics used on wiki?

They're totally free use...don't fret

Thanks for all the work on this BJact - we're hoping to link it off of the new DVD page in 2-3 weeks...so the more pics and quotes and links (including interviews, reviews, vids, etc) that go up, the better.

Any chance at all for a symbolic analysis, Senior Rexxie? I can dreaaaam

Sounds like it might be a good to off-shore your own wiki from Wikipedia just for every aspect of Broken Saints rather than cram into one long super page.
