Did anyone else think "Chapter 24" in that scene in the LOST finale last night when the. . .white light was everywhere? [Don't want to spoil it for people.] Most of the finale, in fact, reminded me of the general mood of Ch24: dramatic, almost epic storytelling [hatch + flashback]; big revelations, character development, large plot twists, etc.

I often draw parallels between LOST and BS, especially when people complain about the slow pacing: way too many people want instant gratification when it comes to revealing a story's mythology. LOST Season 2, IMO, was a very detailed and engaging narrative when viewed as a whole, but ratings are dropping for the show because they're not getting answers fast enough. It's interesting to see the kind of viewer response that BS got with the much larger audience that a mainstream hit TV show commands: a lot of people are rabid fans but others are getting exceedingly frustrated.

I wholeheartedly agree with the parallels. It was the shot especially where Sayid, Jin and sun are huddled down covering their ears and looking up that I had to blink to make sure I wasn't watching BS somehow. Don't know why that particular image reminded me of it, but whatever.

It's so unfortunate that people are whining because not everything was revealed. The whole frickin' hatch situation was answered and resolved for chrissakes! That's plenty for a season finale for me. The Others remain a delightful mystery.

Thanks for bringing that one up Josh

Totally, man...I watched it last night, and 'marked out' during a couple of strong storytelling moments. Go Henry Gale!

Indeed...I've even used shows like Lost and Carnivale as comparisons during pitches for...stuff. Here's hoping the ratings stay up during Season 3 (but yes...it's too bad that everyone will think WE copied THEM if BS ever gets the live action treatments. )

I would so bang Desomond until he died. And then I'd stick a metal rod in his weenie so I could keep on banging him even more. Ung.

Well, that's disturbing. Reminds me of Clerks. Except you KNOW you would be banging a dead guy.

Apparently the producers are going to do something with this; make an announcement at Comicon. . .

Well, if you're completely amoral and have problem violating multiple copyright laws, I'd suggest BitTorrent.

http://www.torrentspy.com/

Search for it, they're all there. Might take awhile to download, but that's what having a life is for.

try dailymotion, they apperently don't police their copyrights

Meanwhile google is implementing high-end media-identification software to analyze videos and look for piracy

I can see why Season 1 was so good and why it won an Emmy. At Comic-Con, someone mentioned that she wasn't surprised that Season 2 didn't, and I agree with her but everyone else booed her.

I just finished Season 2 by the way. What is up with that ending? I'm so confuzzled!
