I visited CoSM last winter and want to go again. My sister noticed the 9-11 connection in the Gaia painting, but didn’t mention it until after we had left, so it’s nice to see the work in the video as that’s one of the things I planned on looking for next time. The Web of Being painting next to Gaia that also graces the cover of Tool’s 10,000 Days wasn’t up either when I visited, so that’s another reason to return. Speaking of Tool, the people in the gallery’s work room where unfinished paintings were kept were listening to Lateralus while I was there. I found that amusing. It was almost cliche.
