WOW, this is amazing. im glad to hear that your dream of a miniseries if starting to root. If it really happens i will have a heart attack. And i give a shout out to ian for his hard work. You guys are the real breath of fresh air into this media driven world.
Hey Brooke,
The Province has a feature today on your favourite film maker. You should check it out, you’ll love it.
Yeah…I read it. What’s strange is that Vancouver seems almost ‘proud’ of the lug. Anything for money, I suppose…and with the way the dollar’s headed, Boll will be the only helmer shooting here by the end of next year!
The art class, compared slick willies opus to the saintly shorts. Almost all unanimously in favour of the far superior shorts, particularly shock ending number 3. Am I having a blade runner moment(“we got 5 skin jobs walking the street…”) a fourth short??? Where…., when…., we crave sustenance.
Good work guys hopefully soon Brooke Burgess, Ian Kirby, Caleb Bouchard, and Andrew West will become the household names we all know they should be
#4’s a DVD exclusive…but there might be some more tastiness on the way in ’08 🙂
“Good work guys hopefully soon Brooke Burgess, Ian Kirby, Caleb Bouchard, and Andrew West will become the household names we all know they should be”
… errmm…
Don’t take it personally…at least nobody wishes you WEREN’T involved – I’ve had my fair share of those LOL
Hey Tobias, we still love you!!!
well, I do aim to inspire at least a neutral response… 😉
I’m just joshin’ around. I will never be ungrateful for the amazing reception the series and now these new pieces have had.
Hey techie young ‘uns, have you seen the saints quadrilogy DVDRs have been ripped on the pirate bay at just over 3 gigs apiece? Spreading the gospel in high res. Any chance of getting a good quality torrent of the 3 shorts together? Would gladly part with hard earned currency to have all 4.
Doubtful…as all three are going on the I Am Legend discs, along with a 4th exclusive one 😉
… which means that, someone will have to part with their cash to pick up the IAL DVD when it comes out and do the necessaries… not that we condone that sort of thing of course…
By the way the 4th ‘mystery’ piece is quite special (I think), so makes the whole thing worthwhile.
…you guys..saving the best ’til last!!!! One student, so taken by the 3 shorts, reckoned slick willies dark seeker adversaries were about as scary as Shrek. I have to concur (28 weeks later, Dawn of the Dead, 30 days of night, show what conviction, contact lenses and a bit of make up can achieve). Wasn’t the darkness of the shorts particularly so satisfyingly bleak? You guys will reach a major, major global audience however. Talent will out!
That’s what happens when a rival studio bids on special effects contracts. Still…it’s gonna rake in a mint with Mr Smith on the poster.
To coin a canadian vulgerism the dark seekers “licked prison balls”. But you guys will have world wide, mass audience exposure! That gotta be a tad exciting. Soon, ze whole vorld vill know your names! Muahahahahahahahahahahah!
Hey, I didn’t say the last one was the best (try asking a parent which one of their children they love the most…), I just said it was ‘kind of special’ – it has a very different flavour than the others and i’m just happy it’s going on the disc so eventually a couple folks might see it. I’m interested to hear responses from folks hereabouts…
Howdy Expert, I am glad I pressed harder enough until I found shrek 3 dvd, because this post on e Of Broken Saints was extremely helpful. Just last Sunday I was pondering on this quite a bit.
