Soul Caliber meets…STAR WARS?!?!

Darth Vader confirmed for PS3.

Yoda confirmed for 360.

Light-saber VS mystic-metal physics aside…this is some fucked up shit, yo.

As the biggest Star Wars nerd of the forum rats, I am obligated to explain that the Sith actually discovered alchemical properities that allowed them to forge metal blades that could go up against their hated nemeses lightsabers. Thank god I bought ‘The Essential Guide to the Force’ last week, it’s a treasure trove of Jedi and Sith lore 😛

I personally think this is stupid. I am not really a fan of Star Wars. Why couldn’t they add characters that would fit in Soul Calibur?

  3. zeek says:

What, like Spawn and Heihachi and Link did? Pfft, Soul Caliber console exclusive characters have always been silly.

  4. admin says:

Yeah…but this is EXTREMELY silly. Why not just license Namco’s engine and make a Star Wars hardcore light-saber game? Would love to see a comic-book weapons fighter that didn’t suck either!

  5. God of War says:

Actually, Link fit pretty well in the Soul Calibur universe. The Gamecube version was just fine for that, the other two characters were silly, yes.

    But Vader and Yoda?

  6. Kevin says:

LMAO. I actually used to think about what it would be like if SW characters would be in a game like Soul Caliber. Funny as that sounds, I now see SC 4 looks WAY more fun than Legends for the Wii. Blasted lucky PS3 and 360 owners.

Well, I bought SCII only because of Link and will probably be playing this one just for Yoda.
