Here’s an earnest plea from fellow artist and saintly supporter St. Even. His work’s profoundly cool, and it’s looking more and more likely that he’ll be contributing to the next project in a very tangible way – so if you can toss a little coin his way, not only will you get a wicked limited edition…you’ll also be helping the crew in the long run! 🙂

Divinereflections.ca is pleased to present two special limited edition prints, The Man and The Temple as an offering to the burning man community and a fundraiser for the creation of an art temple.

The images are printed 12″x18″ on lustre archival paper, signed and numbered in an extremely limited edition of 100, and are destined to sell out, so act fast if you’d like one to ensure that you’re not disappointed. $100 each, matched number sets of both images are also offered, subject to availability. Please include your top three choices of number if the numerology is important and we will do our best to match them to the remaining available prints.

As an added bonus, patrons of each edition will also be eligible for a chance to win a custom Divine Reflection portrait, to be photographed this year on the playa, and completed sometime in the fall!!!

In addition to funding the creation of an art temple, 50% of the proceeds are being donated to two other incredible playa projects: the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies sanctuary ( www.maps.org) , and the creation of holomorphosis sculptural interactive hammock sanctuary, a sculpture that will house hammocks and artwork at our camp.

The Fire the Grid plan has been plunked in my field of awareness through countless connections – both close and coincidental – over the past several weeks.

Yes…there’s definitely a new-age-filling surrounded by fine flaky crust being served to some degree, but the intention is arighteous one. And I don’t plan on passing up the chance to work mojo with the rumoured millions of meditators firing their astral engines simultaneously worldwide.

An hour out of your day certainly can’t hurt, kidlets – even if it is at 4AM PST. Consider it penance for watching Transformers and keeping Michael Bay gainfully employed 😛

This fan video from a previous Polyphonic Spree show is pretty low-fi, but I felt it best captures the awesome ‘front-and-center-of-the-crowd’ vibe that electrified and cracked the fourth chakra wiiiiiiiiide open last night in Vangroovy. I’ve been dying to see these cats – a 24-person pop/rock/gospel/psychedelic/hippie/classical melting pot – for 4 years now, and I finally got my wish. In that opening chorus, they chant their mantra with pride – Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. LOVE!!! – and the cynic in me has been given a facecloth full of ether for a few days.
