A beautiful meditation on our inner workings…and a potential inspiration for the Wachowski’s contributions to the Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake.

Lost Comments :(

No…it’s not a thread about some castaways from a plane crash.

Not only are the damn spammers messing with our forums, but a recent wave of automated cyber-feces bunged up the blog. As a result, we ended up losing the majority of comments from the last few posts.

Normally I wouldn’t care so much…but the warmth you showed Tobias (regarding his personal – and biological – bit of creative genius) was sincerely treasured. 🙁

If you have a spare moment, and the inclination, feel free to repost (or expand upon) your thoughts below. With the guestbook officially dead, and the forums slowly drowning beneath wave after wave of digital dross, it’s up to all of us to make the blog the final front where we saints make a stand.

Have the Brits out-Nintendo’ed NINTENDO?!?!

The developer applause at the end says it all – when the most jaded rabble in the entertainment industry shows that kind of support, you know you have something special.

Proud Papa!

(posted by tobias)

We are overwhelmingly happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful little boy, Alexis Orion, who joined us yesterday at 3:55 pm. It was quite a day! We woke up early (for us), before 7, and looked out the window to see this sunrise, certainly one of the most amazing I have seen. While I was busy snapping pictures of it, Athanasia kind of said “hey… this is… umm…. different” and not long after we were on our way to meet our midwife at the Geburtshaus (‘birth house’). 8 hours later we were holding this little munchkin in our arms.

And I’m afriaid it’s true, every word: there is no other experience quite like this in the world

rocking the Ballhaus!

(posted by tobias)

So, as per last week’s post, I am proud to finally unveil samples from our forthcoming inaugural Stillness3 album, tentatively titled Sitembile (an African word meaning ‘trust’). There are four samples online. Check them out! Preferably with a decent sound system to get the full impact of the lovely hall we recorded in and the magnificent Steinway concert grand… not to mention, of course, the rather long hours of editing, mixing and mastering that I have been putting in over here. Am I fishing for appreciation here? maybe, but more importantly I just want people to hear this music, ’cause I think it’s pretty neat stuff. ‘Nuff said.
